Rehoming Process
Rehoming Process
We first do a video call so that you and your family can see the puppies and their personalities, as well as their parents (i.e., depending on their age).
This first video call is important to us, as to get to know the potential new family for one of my pups and the environment that they will potentially live in.
During the video call, I usually give additional information on the parents’ personalities, answer any questions, and I talk about important further information that you will be needing later if you get a puppy.
If we both decide to proceed with the adoption process, the next step is to schedule a visit for you to meet my pups in person and give a deposit if you want me to reserve a puppy for you; or if you want to skip the meeting step and make a deposit, that is also an option.
Before making the deposit for the puppy of your choice, you will have to agree on the health guarantee and no breeding contract document that we will send to you. You can find this document on my website under the section “Health Guarantee” and “No Breeding Contract.” The pick-up date or delivery of your pup will be agreed upon by both parties before any deposit is made. The deposit will secure the puppy; in other words, if you decide not to proceed with the adoption process after, the deposit is non-refundable.
Videos and or pictures of the puppies will be sent approximately every 10 days, which will show you how your pup and their littermates are changing and growing before going to their new forever homes.
The day of picking up your puppy or delivering your puppy(whatever the case) will be discussed and agreed upon by both parties at least a week before getting your little one.
